自2010年起开始艺术创作

2014年在北京元典美术馆、

2016年在成蹊当代艺术中心、

2017年在艺术粮仓美术馆举办个展

并参加了国内外少量群展

2010年创立北京北六环美术馆项目

 

Wang Baoju, born in Liaoning Province,

lives and works in Beijing.

Graduated from Literature and Language

Department of Nankai University.

Worked for Today Art Museum as Deputy Director

and Editor-in-Chiefof Art Today Publications.

Starting artist career since 2010.

Held 2 solo shows in Yuan Art Museumin 2014

and Chengxi Center for Contemporary Art in 2016.

隐语与阴谋史诗剧

         王宝菊的展览延续了她一直以来的特性。在神秘兮兮的气氛里,似乎存在一 群隐身人,他们是凡人看不见的密谋者,用特有的眼神儿、手势和腔调宰制世界。 人们日常生活的规矩,认识事物的方法和伦理,都被某种荒谬的逻辑左右。由于 我们看不见他们真实的身影,也听不懂他们的语言,只能顺着王宝菊提示的蛛丝马迹疑虑重重,忧心忡忡。

这个以“机关”为主体的场所,耸动着隐语构成的阴谋。隐匿了踪迹的主体盘踞猩红法案,一派道貌岸然。我们不得不承认,这里充斥了气氛诡异的戏剧性。 当一切现象都不合常理,我们是不是得被迫承认:当淫邪占据了法案,必将堂而皇之地上演一场派头十足的阴谋史诗剧。

 

Wang Baoju’s exhibition has continued her own character and quality. In an atmosphere of mystery, there seems to be someone invisible.They are plotters, who rule the world with peculiar eyes, finger gestures and special accents. The rules of everyday life, the way of knowing things and ethics, are all controlled by the absurd logic. Since we could not see their real figure, or understand their language, what we can do is being with the spider silk which was prompted by Wang Baoju, suspicious and worried.

In this place,  the subject is the “organ”, full of the conspiracy of the lingo. The body of the tracks is hidden, which entrenches the scarlet Rostrum. We have to admit that the atmosphere is so eerily dramatic.

When all phenomena are illogical, we must be forced to admit that when prostitution takes over the Rostrum, there will be an epic plot of cabal.
